WildFresno Tweetup 2010

On the evening of April 24th 2010 the @FresnoZoo and @FresnoBeehive partnered up to hold the 1st ever Wild Fresno Tweetup!
The event featured a Twitpic scavenger hunt, several bands, a beer garden, prizes, and fun for all!
To see more pics, read the tweets, or connect with those that went just do a search on Twitter for #wildfresno
Special thanks to @mikeoz and all of those others that worked so hard to put on such a great event

Spring Break in Visalia?

Some time ago John (@jbmendoza) saw a tweet from Greg (@greorioloco) ask if anyone was up to meet for some wings and beer at Hooters in Fresno, CA. John of course took him up on the offer... that how the story begins at least... I'm not sure what chapter were on but this last week Greg again put out the call for wings and beer, except this time he was asking for people to come join him at his establishment, Searcey's Café & Bar. Once again John took him up on the offer, except this time he brought reinforcement in me (@Fresyes) and Roxi (@roxidesigns). I was picked up at around 11:30am and after a short drive we arrived at what I can only describe as a roadhouse type establishment (originally named The Cock and Bull back in the 50's). The beer was cold, the wings were hot, and the time was unforgettable. I'll let the pictures tell the story from here...

Seven Legged Spider

It's been around awhile but it is simply the best thing on the net

Poker at George's

My friend George Fries had a group of us over to play poker. There were two full tables and the play was fierce. Despite everyone giving the birthday boy (George 38) a hand here and their ;-) at the end of the night he like most of us found his wallet lighter. Cheers to John and Andy who split the pot on the big game. After the games everyone hung out and visited for hours. Once Wanda arrived things really got out of hand ;-)

Real Estate Agent Failure

These are examples of three different listings in the Fresno MLS. In my humble opinion each agent has failed to do his/her job in representing their client.

The first two homes have been on the market for weeks and yet each agent only posted one picture of the property (and to that they were less then flattering pictures). The last one, well that agent chose not to post a picture at all. I wonder if that has effected the days on market at all. I see this ALL the time and normally just shrug it off in dissapointement but hence forth I think I’ll post them up on here, like a wall of what not to do.

Sandwich thins FTW!

These things are wonderful. I have never been a fan of hamburger buns, yet they are truley needed to keep all the goodness in it's place while eating (giant lettuce just doesn't cut it). When I have a BBQ chicken sandwhich, cheeseburger, etc. I want to taste the meat and fresh vegetables, not the bread. These sandwhich thins acomplish just that.
